A choker necklace often known simply as a choker, is a necklace that fits snugged or tightly around the neck. They do not normally have a draping effect ..just sit around the neck like a collar. The name choker means closer around the neck. I consider choker necklaces a "so down to earth" kind of accessory. All it takes is a simple button down shirt, destroyed jeans, and a choker of choice
