Stripes for fun ...

Outfit of the day ...
I'm loving this embroidered mustard top and multi-stripe skirt combination. Mustard colored blouse with embroidered neckline featuring an oversize effect, skirt - Urban Renewal pieces from UO are totally one-of-a-kind - handcrafted-vintage pieces produced by dead stock surplus materials - a very lightweight maxi skirt constructed using vintage fabrics, this skirt is completely unique and made by hand, I brought it from UO; brown leather belt - basic spaghetti style  brought from AF; socks - grey knit socks that runs over the knee woven with a pointelle pattern; sunglasses made by Gucci; sandals - made  by Lucky Brand "Randy" - Chic platform sandal made of leather and a flattering t-strap design with adjustable buckle closure - handbag; Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM - made by Louis Vuitton - great for storing books or great as a gym bag

Windy - breezy ...

I like this coat (Academic Research Coat) -- adore the thermal warmth about it which help traps your natural body heat from a rainy or breezy day -- traps in heat from the cold -- such a versatile coat - perfect for the fall and or winter seasons. I wore it because it had been raining and was a bit nipply out. This look is basically a simple look for a rainy /cool/ breezy day or night -- also works well as a rain coat as well if your ask me - :) I got this coat from Modcloth.com. My favorite detail about it is the old fashion vintage plaid vibe not to mention the natural embedded contrast and textural material  (you can wear a coat or trench similar to this one with almost anything).  Easy coordinated - comfortable look all in one - Plaid Mod cloth button coat, grey knit sweater open front sweater cardigan, Abercrombie/Fitch jeans, UO perforated tan woven flats, handbag made by Chloe -- Grey patent Chloe Bay

Sparkle and Fade harem pants

I brought these pants from UO last year - These pants are a bit different as they have a bleach wash flavor to them, they also are a tad bit pleated around the waistband. They are pretty, soft, comfy, and basically a lightweight sweatpants/ harem pants - easy fit.  My first option was to coordinate these lovely pants with black leather gladiators sandals brought from Dolcevita.com (But I had a change of heart and wore my Jeffrey Campbell strappy wooden wedges instead) - I also coordinated this look with an orange cami top - for a pop of color, a white miniature short pleated sleeve cotton cardigan, and a Louis Vuitton hand/shoulder bag - the Mezzo bag (one of my favorite handbags by LV).
