The benefits of cabbage

Cabbage is a very powerful vegetable. It's ideal for weight loss and may other things. It has only 30 calories per cup and is low in fat and high in fiber. It is a smart carb for sure. Cabbage is one of my favorite green veggies because it's full of vitamin K and anthocyanins that help with mental function and concentration and said to prevent nerve damage which improves our defense against Alzheimer’s disease and many other diseases. Studies have showed a reduction in breast cancer in women when green vegetables like cabbage were added to their diet. Cabbage has been linked to the decrease in blood pressure. The high potassium content helps by opening up blood vessels, easing the flow of blood.
