Oatmeal overload

There's no other way to get the new year started out right .. how about a healthy bowl of oatmeal loaded with lots of goodies; also it's so easy to make
Ingredients: 2 cups water - sea salt - 2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats - 1 ripe medium banana - 1 tsp. pure maple syrup (optional) - ¼ cup chopped raw walnuts - butter -  raisins - coconut flakes - (and anything else)
Preparation: Bring water and salt to a boil in medium saucepan over medium heat, stir frequently. Add oats; cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, for 3 to 5 minutes. Add fruits and nuts on top. Let oatmeal stand for 1 minute before serving. Divide between two serving bowls; top each evenly with maple syrup if you want to
