White chocolate almond cookies

Ingredients: 2 cups AP flour - 1 teaspoon baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened - 1 1/4 cups sugar - 2 eggs - 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract - 1 cup white chocolate, coarsely chopped - 1 cup slivered almonds
Directions: Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix flour, baking soda and salt into a large bowl. Set aside. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer or by hand until light and fluffy. Add eggs and almond extract; mix well. Gradually beat in flour until well mixed. Stir in chocolate and almonds. Drop using a tablespoons 1 inch apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheet for 1 minute
