I can eat these cookies all year long, follow along with the pics/steps ..enjoy
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened or at room temp
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons hot water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet MINI chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream the butter,
white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve the baking soda in hot water. Add
to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. Using a ice cream scoop or spoon drop a large spoonful onto an ungreased pans. Bake for about 8-10 minutes - the edges should be crisp and golden brown
