Sweet potato crumble

 three cups of cooked sweet potatoes or pumpkin
1/2 stick butter or margarine 
one egg 
1/2 cup evaporated milk 
3/4 cup brown sugar 
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 
Topping: one stick butter 
one cup brown sugar 
3/4 cups oatmeal 
3/4 cups flour 
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 
and a pinch salt
 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F 
Whip the sweet potatoes (or pumpkin) with the butter, egg and milk
Add the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg
Place in casserole dish
Topping 
Combine one stick of butter
one cup brown sugar
3/4 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and a pinch of salt
crumble it over the top of the casserole
Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until crunchy on top
And there you go - I find that sweet potatoes goes great with sweet bread and hot chocolate
