This recipe makes about six servings:
one pound ground beef
two onions, chopped
one cup of corn

one (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
one (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
one (15 ounce) can kidney beans
one 1/2 cups water
one pinch chili powder
one pinch garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
and a handful of shredded cheese

In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the beef and onions -
saute until meat is browned and onions - tender.
Add the stewed tomatoes with juice, tomato sauce, beans, corn, and water
Season with the chili powder, sugar, garlic powder, salt and ground black pepper to taste
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer for about 30 minutes
Serve with cornbread or tortillas chips
