I tried this recipe with corn syrup and found using regular sugar works best
Easy ingredients:
1/2 cup light brown sugar - 1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted - three eggs - one tablespoon all-purpose flour
one tablespoon milk - two tbs vanilla extract - unbaked pie shell
one 1/2 cup chopped/whole pecans
one 1/2 cup chopped/whole pecans
whipped cream for topping
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, beat eggs until the consistency is fluffy, stir in melted butter. Stir in the brown sugar, white sugar, and the flour - mix well. Add milk, vanilla, and nuts Pour into an unbaked pie shell, bake in preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes at 400 degrees, reduce temp to 350 degrees, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the filling has a gummy-like texture - Garnish with whip cream
