!Fall fashion

!EVERYONE does it best in Fall, in my opinion. Fall and Winter are my favorite time of the year to dress up. My personal DOs for the cool weather seasons are as follows: Avoiding doom and gloom colors such as grey and black - by wearing different shades of browns, greens, purples, mustard, and burnt oranges. Dress in layered clothing. Tall boots and thick wedges. Trench coats and plaid jackets, coordinated with cotton/tweed scarfs. Tweed pants, leggings, and tights. Be comfortable - comfort is always a must for me no matter what season, and add a little pop of color here and there

Homemade - candy

 

Melt some chocolate of your choice on low heat.

I like to use the large Hershey bars, seems this brand melts nicely

 

Stir until the chocolate starts to smooth

 

The consistency should look as such, nice and smooth

 

Roast about a cup of raw almonds

 

Pour the almonds into the warm chocolate

 

Make sure the almonds are coated evenly

 

Evenly coated

 

Let rest for 3 hours or so

Scandinavian rings

I adore Scandinavian jewelry so much and discovered these rings on the Grasilver website. Scandinavian jewelry started to turn up around the mid 1900s in the Scandinavian countries. The workmanship and quality of these pieces are absolutely amazing in my eyes. I am a huge fan of abstract and geometric shaped pieces. Many of these pieces have expired and is considered vintage now a days. Some of the most talented Scandinavian jewelry designers include: Georg Jensen, Torun Bulow-Hube, Nanna Ditzel, Hans Hansen, Bjorn Weckstrom and Henning Koppel. I must admit, most Scandinavian jewelry can be very expensive but due to the history, era, and vintage aspect of these pieces I think it's definitely worth every penny.
