Asparagus salad

Ingredients: 1 cup asparagus tips - 1 cup grape tomatoes; halves - 3 scallions; chopped - 1/4 cup Italian parsley; chopped or torn, stems removed - 1/4 cup olive oil - 1/4 cup white balsamic - 1/2 cup peas - 1 - teaspoon Dijon mustard -1 teaspoon salt - 1/4 - teaspoon pepper - spinach, iceberg lettuce, or butter lettuce - 1/2 cup parmesan cheese for the top .. you can add fish or chicken as well !enjoy

Chocolate chip pound cake

You gonna love this..superb for V-day guys!
Ingredients: 2 cups  all purpose flour - 2 tsp baking powder - 1/2 tsp salt - 2 sticks - 1 cup granulated sugar - 2 large eggs - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 9×5 inch loaf pan. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together. In a stand mixer or with a hand held mixer, beat together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add the eggs 1 at a time, beating for a couple of minutes in between additions. Add the vanilla extract. Either fold in the dry ingredients by hand with a spatula. Stir in the chocolate chips (I placed mine on top). Bake the cake for 50-60 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean
