Funky pattern pants

Can't get enough of the prints. For those who are like me - we NEED some kind of crazy pattern in our lives every now and then, rather it be a skirt or pant. But for those who are a tad bit timid when it comes to retro, try starting with more simple designs – for example, a stripe top ... keeping the rest of your look neutral. Or, if you’re a bit more daring, coordinate a stripe top with a floral skirt, then add a pop of color with a bag or shoe . . . the perfect way to make the transition into fall

Coconut cream

Easy ingredients: 1-1/2 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs (I like to add in cinnamon/sugar) - 2 tsp. cinnamon - 1/4 cup sugar - 1/3 cup unsalted butter, room temp - 2 pkg 8 oz cream cheese (I used Philly cream cheese), softened or room temp - 1 cup sugar - 2 tsp. vanilla exact - 1/4 cup coconut flakes or 2 tsp. coconut extract - 3 eggs

Directions: Heat oven to 350°F. Mix graham cracker crumbs using the cinnamon, 1/4 cup sugar, and butter, press into bottom 9-inch pan with your fingers. Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, vanilla, and coconut with mixer until well blended/creamy. Add eggs one at a time mix on low-med speed until blended. Pour over crust. Bake 55-60 mins or until center is soft-yet slightly solid. Refrigerate for about 3-4 hours, overnight would be even better. Serve with whipping cream and !enjoy

What does Autumn mean to you? The significant change from summer to fall is quite unique to me. Fall gives me a comforting feeling inside - the theme as a whole brings such a cozy warmth to my heart. I adore the different pigments of leaves as they change and fall slowly in the cool breeze. The freshness and love in the air during this time of year simply puts me in a great mood

Inspiration: The beetle

Beetles come in all different shapes, sizes, and many beautiful combinations of colors. When I saw this unique display while visiting a mall in Hawaii of this lovely painted artwork display it totally grabbed my attention. The symbolic meaning of the beetle alone is very interesting to me (some may refer to them as Scarab). They say beetles represent strength, cleanliness, hope, and a slough of many other things. Their bright colors also have symbolic meaning, for example: red is symbolic of love, energy, passion. green is said to mean prosperity in wealth and health

Fun flowy floral maxi

I'm loving today's look, it's simply creative (I'm saying this because I am obsessed with how the navy military style jacket coordinates with the floral flowy maxi skirt). Maxi skirts are not only one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing I wear, but they are also versatile. I find maxis (rather it be a skirt or dress) easy to add different patterns and layers to making them just the right piece for the upcoming months. Maxis are truly my favorite piece in which I can't help but to wear them year round. Wear what you feel comfortable in no matter what and get creative with your wardrobe
